Estadio Alvear y Tagle was a multi-use stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was the home ground of Club Atlético River Plate until River Plate Stadium opened in 1938. The stadium held 40,000 spectators. It was one of two stadiums that hosted the 1929 Copa América.
